Hanging On The Power Is Only Option For IOG

After offending so many people through his regime for the past 30th years

From SDS to rootless leader of this one-city-state of ours, how many people he offended along the way?, well IOG might be smiling at camera or his exclusive RTD TV screen, it would be unfair to accuse all the alleged crimes that has been committed for the past 30 years, off course there is co-conspirator and these who could be charged accessories to countless crimes committed against the Poor-Powers-Disoriented Djiboutian.

Staying on the power is no longer an option however, it purely a survival tactics, IOG created a lot of enemies along the way while he was trying to secure the chair, while he was operating under the shadow of his late uncle the first and former Leader of Djibouti Hassen Gouled Aptidon for 20 years, I can recall people use to call him Monsieur Le President as early as 90th.

IOG initiated a ply off between the Issa communities, he used one group against other in oder for him a manipulate social structure, he created a parallel group leaders for every group to farther weaken their cohesion. The Issa community eliminated each other from political scene all together, it also a system already in place that he leaned from colonial masters the Frenchy.

Besides there are two groups or co-conspirators, the first group are the stooges from his own community Koraye, Kalahaye womanish Adnan and others are minorities who are there to enrich themselves, the minorities and special interest group manipulates IOG to the certain degree, for example the relation between Ba-fourabeh was deteriorating for many years and IOG was increasing isolated surrounded by Odette Haid’s and her tribe.

There was a general feeling that IOG was out of touch, the situation was getting worse even some of his own many brothers and his own son from different mother had hard time getting access to his residence all this was happening in midst of general election looming around the corner, that means IOG’s last self-declared 2nd term as absolute leader of Djibouti was getting near its ending, an urgency to repair the relationship between his own sub-tribe Ba-fourabeh and him have to under take to lobby and campaign for his behave.

Oudet Haid found a perfect opportunity, when Ali Indhayare wanted to marry her sister-in-law, widowed many times before, IOG sister’s marriage was arranged in strange circumstance, Odette Haid seized the opportunity and she planned the wedding ceremony strategical for specific mission, it was to be held in IOG’s residence delicately in time of her need to repair the damage that she inflicted in Ba-foulabeh, as soon as the brief marriage ceremony was over, and Indhayare family left, (Caroose lagoma raago lagamana raago) the meeting of Ba-fourabeh reconciliation begun and it was hailed as success according the insider source.

What to follow was carefully planned ludicrous tactics to win the hearts and mind of already eliminated Issa, as we all know by now, it was not co-incident to coincide his campaign to get elected again and get credit for strangely organized Oagas affair, all erratic activities tells everybody that IOG and his co-conspirator are desperate to hang on power, mainly they like enjoy the immunity from persecution and rule the country with impunity as long as they can, that is exactly what the elder Ali dule advised his Ba-fourlabeh fellow countrymen.

One wonders why IOG can’t negotiate his way from this mess, he is being led to believe that it’s not any longer his own problem and his problem only, his co-conspirator are pushing him to the edge and convincing him that they are all in together, It’s also one of the reason that IOG broke his promise with Mr. Boreh to be his successor for a transfer of power after his mandate expires, unfortunate that is no longer an option, what is however left is the suicidal mission that we’re witnessing today.
